Our Services

We provide an enriching program that celebrates and educates children about Indigenous cultures and traditions, fostering respect and understanding. We have many resources in the rooms to bring this important culture into focus. We observe all indigenous days and bring shows into the service to use these as a tool to educate.

Our cultural program introduces children to diverse cultures from around the world, promoting inclusivity and global awareness. Important cultural days of all the children at the service are celebrated with watching videos of how the day is traditionally celebrated and a cooking or craft experience is planned to follow up this special day.

We host a variety of fun and educational events throughout the year ensuring 1 incursion every month is held on a different day of the week. All shows are interactive and lots of fun. Shows include Robotics, animal, insects and reptile education, science experiments, healthy living shows, Aboriginal education, Magic shows,

Dinosaur shows, life cycle education, music shows, sustainability education and Christmas shows helping children build social skills and create memorable experiences. We also have days for families to immerse themselves in their children’s learning and education and enjoy a morning or afternoon of play, snacks, and experiences. We join with all the major charity’s dress-up days and offer donations made on behalf of children by Treetops for all children who dress up for these days.

Nutritious Meals

Five catered meals each day, tailored to meet the nutritional needs of children. We provide breakfast and a late snack, Kids Gourmet Food provide Morning tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea. They provide the meals daily and work on a 6 week rotating menu of meals from different cultures around the world.

Routine

Having a structured day allows the children to feel settled by knowing what’s coming next and also allows for them to have a sense of time by knowing which experiences have happened and what is still yet to come before their day is over. Our routine maximises big blocks of uninterrupted play whilst meeting the sleep and eating needs of the age group and taking into consideration comfortability with weather for outside play. Whilst we follow a daily routine we allow ourselves to be flexible with it.

Treetops is such a beautiful centre. Katie and Adam are very welcoming. Communication is excellent and some great activities are organised for the children. Peta, Holly and Jamie also do a wonderful job providing care, and have created a lovely environment in the Oak Room. We are appreciative to Treetops, and would highly recommend it to others.

My son Rayyan goes to Treetops since more than a year and we absolutely love it there! Katie is just absolutely amazing, kind and always ready to assist you with any query. She guides you, responds to you promptly, and is honestly one of the nicest people you'd come across. She and her staff are all absolutely amazing. It's a small centre so children get more individual attention, and everyone knows everybody. Also, as it's literally next to kirrawee public school, that means most of the kids enrolled there goto kirrawee school that's a relief as your child will have friends from Daycare at the big school that's gonna be a comfort when starting there. Cheers!

My son started childcare with Treetops this year. The owners of the centre are always around and contactable directly for absolutely anything. There are always activities being organised whether it's celebrating a different culture, wildlife and animal visits or playing different sports. But it's the lovely childcare workers that have made our first year of childcare such a dream and so much easier than it could have been. The girls who work at the centre are all so caring, friendly and passionate about what they do. They develop lovely relationships with all the kids, and there seems to be very low staff turnover, which helps the kids to feel secure. You simply can't compare a family run childcare centre with this level of care and consideration in everything they do to a large commercial orientated childcare centre. Would | recommend to anyone looking for a childcare centre in Kirrawee or surrounding area, but just remember to get on the waitlist as soon as possible!
